PiNTeam GmbH specialises, amongst other things, in software and system development in the automotive sector.

Innovation needs sound foundations, which is why the client wanted the new office space in Garching to be modern, welcoming, homely and inspiring. The main focus should be on people, encouraging teamwork and providing useful spaces for retreat.

Drawing on inspiration from mountain hikes and Alpine huts, a unique “Alpine Flair” concept was developed in creative partnership with the client.

No sooner have you entered the foyer than the blend of graphic artwork and adhesive film designs transports you to the mountains. Wood is at the heart of the entire concept, with the matured timber on the walls conveying a homeliness which really brings out the Alpine hut feeling. 

The client was also heavily involved and brought a great eye for detail to the mix, implementing both the matured wood panelling and the meeting table with integrated company logo on his own initiative.

The visual language of the wallpaper with forest and mountain landscapes, the soft, natural-coloured carpets and the use of plants round off the great outdoors experience.

To visually separate the individual areas and enhance the spatial effect, some ceiling areas were fitted with black acoustic panels and specially developed partitions with integrated sound absorbers.

The meeting room needed to be bright but not visible from the outside in order to cater for confidential discussions and client visits. A film covering with a mountain panorama on the glass front provides the appropriate visual protection and ensures the necessary discretion.

All in all, a unique working environment with a great feel-good character was created - driven by the Alps!
