Kinzo created a made-to-measure innovation lab for the headquarters of premium domestic appliance manufacturer Miele in Gütersloh, meeting the highest standards of flexibility and innovation regarding technical and functional requirements.

The open space concept allows for a versatile use of the premises and fosters creativity and communication between co-workers. Besides meeting, all hands and workshop areas, the test and show kitchen is at the heart of the lab. It offers sufficient room for workshops and project work as well as the testing and exhibition of new prototypes. The lab’s informal, “homely“ atmosphere encourages an exchange between co-workers while the interior design promotes casual encounters and ad hoc meetings. Simultaneously, the appealing working environment provides a source of identity and attracts new hires.
