The design of this 2230 m² office building exemplifies a deep-rooted connection to both community and the natural environment. The space serves as a shared community test lab. And elements such as locally salvaged wood, three living walls, a living wine bar, in-grade planters, two large skylights, Solatubes, and operable windows serve to connect the occupants with elements of the outdoors in addition to supporting the company’s commitment to sustainability. The 1st floor houses social spaces including reception, the break room, a wine bar, and a fitness room. All workstations were moved to the 2nd floor to support the social and visual connectivity of employees. The building is LEED Platinum Certified and the first "Net Zero Energy Commercial Office Building" in San Francisco.
