How can you make the return to the office a success while boosting motivation at the same time? The shift to working from home due to the pandemic has also changed the way Avnet Business Services GmbH works.
They set about future-proofing the way they work by optimising the office space, introducing desk sharing and making communal areas more attractive. On a similar note, the canteen was also expanded and turned into a lively work lounge with its own barista bar. In addition to a range of coffee specialities and snacks, there is also plenty of seating: as a place for eating and relaxing, as a retreat for quiet work or recharging your batteries, but also for informal exchange and creative teamwork.
The expressive design is inspired by nature, which explains the use of matching elements: light wood (tabletops, slatted walls), a colour concept with different shades of green (moss walls, motif wallpaper, wall and ceiling colours). There isn’t a single white wall in sight!
The integration of anthracite feature tones and a concrete look (floor, wallpaper, feature walls) provides the perfect contrast.
The size of the premises meant that the division of space into zones also needed careful consideration. Different floor coverings and the range of colour shades on the walls make for a systematic division and clear demarcation of each different area.
The notion of a work lounge with a feel-good character is rounded off in style with perfectly chosen lighting and a creative acoustic concept!
